Greg Doyel compared DeflateGate to the Black Sox Scandal

Ok, that moron from Indy, Greg Doyel, was on WEEI and compared DeflateGate and the Black Sox Scandal as the same thing. He said the White Sox set to fix the World Series and the Patriots set to fix the AFCCG. The White Sox took money from the mob to throw the World Series. If allegations are true, the Pats took a few PSI out of a football.

He also said a WR using Stickum is a minor offense, but this is a major one because stickum only affects one player, but the football affects every player on the field.

I know he likes to pander to his Colts' base, but c'mon.

At this point you'd be better served to block out the noise. Avoid sports talk radio and stay off ESPN. Stick with NFLN when Faulk and Friends aren't on there and read some of the grat analysis coming out on Grantland and other sites.

There's great stuff on the game being published, you just have to wade through the miles of nonsense to get it Ignore Doyal and Kravitz and Felger and Mazz and ESPECIALLY Borges, your blood pressure and stress levels will thank you for it.

Supposedly, their claim is we did something to give us an "advantage" to help us "WIN". How do you compare that with an organization that unequivocally THREW a World Series. This is like trying to convince someone that their VW Beetle can get them across the country as quickly as flying on a 767. Only a complete moron, or someone so seething with Pats hate could actually buy into this buffoonery of a comparison.

Since we're reaching back into history here, I compare this to the Dreyfus Affair where a French officer was unjustly accused in 1894 of selling state secrets to the Germans. He was railroaded by certain factions in the French gov't with falsified docs etc.. Eventually he was exonerated and someone else was charged with treason.
