He hit The Squirrel in his back with his facemark which snapped his head & next back. Hurts like hell & a stunner.
Team was being very appropriately proactive.

Aaron Williams of the Bills has been released from the hospital. Good news after being taken off in an ambulance with a neck injury.

Just read the story linked above. I love this game, but you have to be worried and no game is worth permanent injury, obviously. Best wishes to Williams.

I still think they could come up with safer equipminet in the head and neck area, if we had a commissioner that really cared about player safety, instead of paying of committees and judging the public relations impact.

I still believe he cannot last his contract, they'll have to fire him or eat the contract. He is going to destroy the league and the game, they need an intelligent person of good character. Soft helmet research, no extended seasons, Thursday night games only a rarity, no games overseas with long flights except the pro bowl, played after the super bowl, in a different foreign city so those fans can see the players in a circus atmosphere where nobody, hopefully, gets hurt.

It was really a scary moment, as a Pats fan I wish no harm to any opponent players ever! These guys are fathers, husbands, kids, friends to many!
