Has us taking ILB Hightower and WR Watkins of Baylor.
Watkins is interesting because Baylor runs option routes. Which in theory should give him a heads up on other WR's because he is used to reading the defense at the snap of the ball.
Hightower is a playmaker and would fit in nicely next to Mayo.

This is exactly where I was a week ago (Hightower, Wright) but I've evolved my thinking a little bit. I really like Wright but am cautious, with our developmental record, of drafting a WR in the first round.

I really hate this one OJ. The Hightower pick would say that BB feels that BOTH Spikes and Fletcher are not players, and we know that healthy, BOTH bring a lot of value to the position. Its a needless pick in the first round. Not so much for the player but for the position he plays.
The same goes for the Wright pick. I don't see Bill taking a WR in the first round at this point in the draft. MAYBE if Wright was there with one of the 2nd round picks, I could see it. But you don't go that high for a guy you HOPE can be another Deion Branch.
Personally on a need basis, forget about the names, the positions I'd like to see come out of the first 4 picks next April would be DE/OLB, FS, CB, WR
