Revisionist history at it's finest. Edelman was a Free agent when Welker walked. Amendola was signed after Welker refused the Pats offer.. Edelman wasn't re-signed until late in the free agency period. And when he was, it was at a reduced deal because the Pats had already signed Amendola.

You are the epic fail. Not Deus (for a change)..

And they would have let any team snag JE for a decent contract. Not one team bit on him, which was odd.

I think we get Ghost done... but we'll see.

It's an unfortunate lexigraphical fact that if we lose him, we will be giving up the Ghost. However, if plans in the bowels of Gillette say "just draft another one," I can live with it (although he is a proven commodity and brings many facets that AV never did... e.g. reliable touchbacks, longer FGs.)
