Yes, and I recognize that the ultimate decision to go with that rests on the owners and the players, not the commissioner.Rather than constantly referring to the owners and defending Goodell like your related to him, why not take a stance on some of these proposals?
Are you in favor of an 18 game schedule?
No, but I recognize that the decision to go with that rests on the owners, not the commissioner. And I have sworn that the day they announce they are having a Super Bowl in London will be the last day I contribute anything whatsoever to the NFL in terms of buying merchandise or following media.Do you think a team in London is good?
I won't be one of these morons who whines and moans and then still watches anyway. I will issue a few goodbyes and then the NFL will be dead to me. However, I do not believe that is going to happen, so I feel safe.
The honest answer is I really don't care. The only problem I have with pushing the draft back is that it also pushes the schedule release back. That's the day I wish they would move up. The draft itself I really don't care whether it is in mid-April or early-May.Do you like the draft in May?
No, because I like the current system, but I recognize that the decision to go with that rests on the owners, not the commissioner.Do you believe playoff expansion is a good thing?
Based on the above, it sure looks like I am.Are you capable of having an opinion that differs from Roger and the owners?
Questioning authority is fine. Problem is all you're doing is criticizing an employee of the league, not the true authorities.Questioning authority is the very foundation this society is built on. I could give you some examples of why never doing it resulted in catastrophe. It's OK to form an opinion other than the one your told you need to have. Really, it is.
