I think going into SB #8, doubling any other QB and seeking Title #6 matching the entire franchise history of any other team (and more than 30 of them) the board deserves a thread honoring the GOAT. Post you favorite GOAT facts here. I’ll start with:

In the postseason there have been 40 cases of QBs throwing 50+ passes. 8 of those were by Tom Brady, 32 by everyone else. The w/l records in thise games:

Brady. 6-2
Everyone else 2-30

If you include regular season games
Brady. 19-9 (second most wins is 5)
Everyone else. 112-438

Brady is the only QB who plays with his tail up and the other 31 starting QBs play with their tails down.

GOATs begin climbing and jumping off tree stumps and bales of hay when they're just a week old. At two weeks old, kids (baby GOATS) are fearlessly agile, running and leaping for fun.

Tom Brady and Peyton Manning have each been to the playoffs 15 times.
With a win Sunday brady will double mannings post season win total, and triple his championship total, while still having 4 fewer losses.

Brady has 21 multi touchdown playoff games. Brett Favre ranks second all time with 15, while Montana had 14.

Most Postseason Touchdown Passes, NFL History
1. Tom Brady, 66
2. Joe Montana, 45
3. Brett Favre, 44

Brady has played in 12 AFC championship games in 16 full seasons as a starter (75%). Kurt Warner has the highest completion percentage among hall of fame qb’s (65.5%). The goat has a better chance of reaching an AFC title game than a hall of famer completing a pass. :D

I'll contribute to this topic.

According to the internet:

"Goats are very much capable of scaring people. Thanks to their weirdly rectangular pupils with horizontal slits and pale irises that make this possible. From evolutionary point of view, this helps the goats to keep an eye on predators over a wide range."

Tom Brady is 27-9 in the playoffs. Even if you subtract off his 1st 3 SB winning seasons he is 18-9.

That is more wins than any other QB :D

Its also a playoff win percentage that is as good or better than:
Elway
P. Manning
Roethlisberger
Staubach
Flacco
Rodgers
E. Manning
Russell Wilson
J Kelly
Steve Young
Drew Brees

:D

Tom Brady's career playoff record when *trailing* by 10 or more points at any point in the game:

6-5.

(SBs 49, 51, recent AFC title game, Ravens divisional 2014, Snow Bowl, San Diego divisional game in 2006)

When *leading* by 10 or more point at any point, he is 18-1 (2006 Colts AFC title game).

Interestingly, in other games where no one ever has a 10 point lead, he's only 3-3. Wins versus Titans in 2003, Chargers in 2007 AFC title game, and Ravens 2011 AFC title games. Losses in both Giants Super Bowls (46 had a 9 point Giant lead) and the 2015 AFC title game versus the Broncos.

I got an idea from someone here a while ago and started working on a complete list of the playoff success of all QB's. I used a point system of:
1 for making the playoffs, 2 for reaching the second round, 3 for the championship round, 4 for the SB and 5 for winning the SB
Below is how the top of the list came out so far

Player Yrs/Pts/Pts per season
Tom Brady 16/54/3.38
Roger Staubach 8/25/3.13
Joe Montana 12/34/2.83
Russell Wilson 6/15/2.50
Terry Bradshaw 13/31/2.38
Peyton Manning 18/41/2.28
Jim Kelly 11/24/2.18
Bart Starr 14/29/2.07
Troy Aikman 12/24/2.00
Norm Van Brocklin 10/20/2.00
Steve Young 10/20/2.00
John Elway 16/31/1.94
Ben Roethlisberger 14/27/1.93
Aaron Rodgers 10/19/1.90
Johnny Unitas 14/25/1.79
Joe Flacco 10/17/1.70
George Blanda 9/14/1.56
Bob Griese 14/21/1.50
Bobby Layne 13/19/1.46
Colin Kaepernick 5/7/1.40
Brett Favre 19/26/1.37

Elway went to 5, so not quite.

The one I can’t get over is that this team is 4-0 in their last 4 playoff games when they trail by 10 points. Insanity

16 seasons as the starter 12 Title games. Absurd
8th Super Bowl appearance in as many years: even more absurd. That’s a super bowl every two years

I brought this up among some friends... going into the season which are you taking in this prop, Tom brady completing is first pass of the season, or the patriots reaching the championship game. Of course both could happen, but which are you more confident in
