The first segment in this weeks overall NFL sights and sounds is about Gilmore against the Giants.

Good stuff. As often the sideline stuff is more interesting than many parts of the game.

I love this guy. And it feels great to have an elite (to say the least) CB locked up long-term and just kick back without all the contract drama like with Revis, Samuel, and Law’s later years. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt so good about a CB, and the Patriots have been looking for a guy like this in his prime for years.

I don’t know why QBs even throw at him. I believe he has three picks and two or three deflections leading to picks as well. The guy is just a total playmaker even though he doesn’t get burned often by gambling for a pick.

He has such incredibly quick hands and long arms to knock the ball out. That play in the Super Bowl, when he punched the ball out of CJ Anderson’s arm was so spectacular, considering Anderson is a huge dude running straight at him. Had that fumble stayed in bounds, it would have been replayed all offseason as the play of the year. Had to settle for his game sealing interception later in the quarter :)

Pure Patriots Porn... addicted and do not want to find a cure.

Cowturd yesterday said obviously the best 2 CBs in the NFL are Ramsey and Lattimore.

NFL media hates to give individual Patriots defensive players props.

The twin turning their heads at the same time is quite amusing.

Surprised he didn’t say Joe Haden lol

At least Peterson isn't one of those names. My biggest pet peeve is when he gets the title of Best CB.

Cowturd is that pencil-neck high school geek who got weekly crammed into his locker.

You only know that because of his loud mouth.

I honestly couldn't care less about the debate. He's great for us and what we need him to do. Whether he's 1, 2 or 5 really doesn't make a difference except to fans who want every good player on their respective team to be rated #1 in the league. It's stupid... except when it comes to Brady.:D

Loved the signing when it went down. I can’t think of better defensive acquisition the Patriots have had defensively over the Belichick era. I can only think of Rodney Harrison. Gilmore is a stud.

Because they give good interviews. Cowherd is nothing more than a carnival barker.

.

thought while watching

-at some pnit in the broadcast is was mentioned that the way the patriots were playing D to begin with, jamming the short/middle routes, would in turn force giants to go to longer/deeper routes, and we'd have to see how the D would adjust...and you can hear right away BB telling Gilmore and D to now start to look for the double moves (before that part of the broadcast happened)...he knew exactly what would be coming and how the Giants would adjust to what the pats were doing and was prepared...i love chess and that's exactly chess, make a move, and predict the opponents move, and be ready w/ your next move to counteract that prediction
