They remind me of Sherman and the Shehawks, the only difference is they were 1 and done...Jacksonville likely never wins the Super Bowl. At least not the one in February.

I know what you mean, but talent wise, the Jets are nowhere close to what Jacksonville has. Aside from Revis, Bart Scott and maybe Cromartie, Ryan’s Jets were a product of the scheme. They had average overall talent at best.

Truthfully, I'm sick and tired of the Patriots almost always shutting up and taking negative commentary. Every now and then, the NFL needs a reminder who the big boy on the block is. It's why I love the dynasty Patriots so much: they had that swag.

Maybe Gilmore is wrong about the zone defense but correct in the more general sense that Ramsey has tons of support around him. The Jags have elite players all over that defense, so I think the perception is that Ramsey has it a lot easier than Gilmore.

I remember the back and forth with Revis and Sherman a few years back. While Sherman did play in a primarily zone defense, he was also elite in man coverage (and sometimes zone and man just blend together.). However, the perception, like this, had more to do with Sherman being surrounded by two other all-pros in the secondary, so the “zone” perception became enhanced.
