I don't think that's an issue. I think Wolf sees his job as getting the guys Vrabel wants, not picking players to foist on Vrabel.

Yeah, but right now they are close to 80s Broncos in that they are pretty much a one-man team. Cook is nice, but none of the other skill guys are threats. Defense has regressed and can’t stop good RBs. Their window might not close but they don’t have enough to win it all this year.
