I have always thought Tanguay was a moron, but this clip might have confirmed it. He has a major hissy fit about how Belichick needs to say something tomorrow in his press conference. Unfortunately, he goes off like a petulant child so I am not clear what Tanguay thinks Belichick should say or exactly what his point is other than he thinks Kirk Minihane is a moron.

Tanguay is that 15 year old girl in HS who *****es and moans when **** does go her way...yet no one listens

When Kirk Minihane is the voice of reason, that trio is ****ed. However, he is right. There is nothing BB can say or do tomorrow that will satisfy the masses. People, Tanguay included, will make the story what they want it to be by twisting his words around.

Has anyone ever seen Tanguay and THIS person at the same time???

Belichick doesn't talk to the media to give them a story so the media tries to create a story about how Belichick doesn't talk to the media.

I would love if BB could pull a Parcells like press conference on the subject of Hernandez. But, you know we'll get something about it being an unfortunate situation and that he's only here to discuss players that are on the team, we've moved on.

ok, he won't say anything about it being an unfortunate event.

Tanguay is the moron. Why should Belichick apologize for something that happened (using Tanguay's thinking) "under his watch" when they player wasn't under his watch. They're grown men, Belichick has control of them at Gillette, when they're off living their lives in the summer they're responsible for their own actions, Bill is out of the loop. Which is why he hates the summer.

For once, it will be an interesting D&C tomorrow morning. D&C are now in a feud with Howard Stern and Minahane gets into with Tanguay.

Here is Stern going off on D&C this morning (BTW, the clip is NSFW):

Howard Stern Ripping on Dennis & Callahan from WEEI - 7/23/13 - YouTube

Most people who read the WEEI vs. 98.5 threads know I hate D&C, but in their defense, they did beat Stern fairly regularly before he went to satellite radio.

I guess D&C will have push their George Zimmerman talk to Thursday.

I agree. Even if Belichick goes into great detail on how Hernandez sold him a bill of goods on changing his life and Patriots security followed him for a month and couldn't find anything that said otherwise, people will be still upset that they didn't follow Hernandez for two months and Belichick should have given him a lie detector.

wow...that's a pretty long tirade for someone who says he "doesn't care"...what did Caladouche and Denise say about this?

Highlight of the argument is Merloni saying "I'm not here."

Geez, Stern has awfully thin skin to go on a tirade like that for eight minutes.

Bill Belichick owes no explanation or apology. This guy is being ridiculous. Maybe Bill Belichick should publicly pat himself on the back every time a player does something good as well..."Tebow donated x amount of money to charity and brought 14 people into the inner circle of the Kingdom of Heaven this week. Your welcome. I take credit for that because I brought him into the fold." Stupid line of reasoning.

What does this guy expect, for Bill Belichick to stand up in front of the nation and declare that Aaron Herandez is GUILTY of what he's being accused of? Just publicly sidestep due process? It would be moronic to publicly make judgment calls about ongoing judicial processes from a man in his position. That's one thing, but this guy is SO wrong on so many different levels. The biggest thing is that Belichick, or the Patriots for that matter, are in no way culpable for what a player does off the field unbeknownst to them.

As long as Belichick doesn't wish Hernandez "the best," he should be alright. If they want true honesty, they'd probably hear a bunch of "fck him" type talk. The only betrayal happened on Hernandez's end. The explanation would be "we didn't know anything about these things. How could be possibly know?" The apology would be "we're sorry he's no longer on the team, likely to go to prison, and causing huge disruptions for our team that are in need of damage control...and that people are either dead or injured."

If anything, Belichick should express his disappointment...that's IT.

What an embarrassing whine fest, voices started cracking, throwing his hands up, yelling at the ceiling. My 6 and 8 year old nephews have more intelligent exchanges....Yeeesh!

It's the media version of pro wrestling.

Just saw Tanguay, ****erson and Buckley cover this topic again on Sports Tonight. There were no fireworks because they were all in agreement that BB needs to "come clean" about what he knew, when he knew it, express regret to the Odin family and generally fall on his sword. They were practically salivating over the prospect of BB finally "getting his" (my words, not theirs) from the hard-hitting, relentless national news media, as opposed to the wimps who are football/sports reporters. Their naïveté was astounding.

Our local tv and radio sports media is at an all time low. It's not even entertaining to listen to WEEI unless they're playing the whiner line clips.

Why is Tanguay still on the air? He got dumped from 98.5 and got passed over for the Pats play by play job he thought he had a shot at getting, who listens to this clown?
