@Ian -- remember that they changed the injury system this year. The new designations are Questionable and Doubtful; no more Probable. And the meanings changed - Questionable means a player has a 50% chance or higher of playing, while Doubtful means a players has less than a 50% chance of playing. This changes the outlook quite a bit I think. Could still be inactive, but given the rumors I guess he would have been listed as Questionable under last year's rules.

Yes, doubtful means that he's "unlikely to play," and although it's no longer defined as a 25 percent chance or less (whatever that really meant to Belichick), it's still representing the same meaning.

I can't remember the last time a player listed as doubtful (for the Pats) has ever ended up being active on game day. I may be wrong but it is very rare.

Injury Report Gate--naturally.

I highly doubt that he's active, though. I don't see why he wouldn't have listed him as questionable along with some of the others who won't play, had he really been trying to mess with BOB's head.

I think sometimes we tend to overthink things. He's listed as doubtful, so I think it's doubtful that he's active tomorrow. Just my opinion.
