Garnett -Done deal

Are you honestly suggesting that KG can't play 4 for the Celts? The guy is one of the most versatile players in the game, can play 3-5, can post up, can shoot, can run the floor, can defend bigs...he is by and large classified as a "Power Forward" and will play that position extremely well for the Celtics, and in fact can play 5 when we need him to. So what is your point exactly?

Is Tim Duncan a classic PF/C? Not anymore than KG, but he's got plenty of hardware.

It's kind of like with Dirk Nowitzki, yeah he's amazing and very versatile, but that is only great in the regular season. Come playoff time, the lack of an elite post-up game kills big jack-of-all-trades guys like that.

He doesn't lack a post up game at all, he has a nasty turnaround down low. He can score facing the basket or with his back to it. His post moves aren't Tim Duncan, Elton Brand or probably even Big Al, but what he provides in other areas of the floor easily makes up for that.

On top of that, now KG has a guy who has performed well in the playoffs and in the clutch in Paul Pierce.
