So, besides Tyquan Thornton, Kyle Dugger, and Jack Jones making great plays today (I'm going to eliminate Keion White from the compliments since his one batted pass was basically all he did), Jacoby Brissett broke the NFL record with 47 completions.

He beats the record of 45 held by Drew Bledsoe and Jared Goff.

What I mean is, one of these is consistently allowed (using hands when the pass is in the air) and the other isn't (using hands past 5 yards). It's a logic problem.

Technically it is consistent. You can only use your hands on PI if you are looking back for the ball or going for the ball. In both cases, you can use your hands to make contact in only certain situations.
