I've been playing the Patriots, and one of the things that jumped out at me concerning TBC is that he lines up on the same side as Sey and Harrison. Since Sey requires the double-team, Tully is quite active. Running at that side against Sey and Harrison isn't the best strategy for the opponent.

The run defense is solid with Vrabel and Bruschi inside.

On offense, there's a lots of 2 TE and 3 TE formations in the playbook. The TE's easily beat the LB, and thus the opposing LB require safety help. This puts the 6'2 physical Gabriel one-on-one with a corner. The guy is freakin' huge. It impressed as to the sheer size and physicality of the offense this year, as opposed to a spread offense with a lot of 5'9 speedy smurfs using speed to get open.

And of course, Dillon and Maroney perfectly compliment each other ... Dillon gets the tough yards, and Maroney gets the big play.

One interesting formation that jumped out at me was the 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE lining up next to the LT, and 2 TE lining up next to each other on the other side (RT).

I think Madden was made way too offensive oriented. I play it online (which is on all-pro) and the patriots cannot stop anybody in this game. I had rudi johnson break a tackle on harrison, eugene, seymour and bruschi on the same play. Maybe I'm just horrible at this game, but I am extremely disappointed with it.

I do love all the TE formations though, my opponents never know what's coming.

Funny, you should mention Madden. Just for fun, last night I proposed a trade with the Raiders for Gabriel offering a fifth round pick and the computer wanted nothing to do with it; it took two 4ths and a fifth to get it done.

TBC on Sey's side? It actually happens for me that Colvin was automatically on Sey's side. Colvin absolutely rocks for me. Totally freaking awesome. He is all over the place. Offensively I love to use Chad Jackson as my #4 reciever. He has some of the best routes I can find for some reason and he has scored like 8 TDs for me in his rookie year. I go to Gabriel in the redzone. I use the QB vision to throw the ball high and its awesome. Gabriel was being defended by Clements and they went up for the jump ball but Gabriel snagged it for the TD.

Colvin, Wilson and Hobbs seem to be the most active people on my defense, getting many tackles.

How do you use the vision to throw it high?

Push up on the keypad or left analog stick while throwing.

I made Gabriel the primary reciever. The QB Vision is on him, I push the D-pad I think its called up and throw to him. The ball is thrown high in the air at him so it becomes a jump ball.

I just got it yesterday.
I traded Branch straight up for Charles Tillman from the Bears.

Chad & Troy are my top 2 receivers.

Still don't have Gabriel but may do what I need to do to get him.

Pretty awesome so far. Dave Thomas is a beast!
