Should the Patriots defeat the Jets and Dolphins, this team will tie for the second most regular season wins in franchise history.

Before the season began I would have considered anybody predicting that to happen to be delusional.

A crazy turnaround. To me, half that number of wins would have counted as a successful recovery from last year. This is like **** Williams and the '67 Sox.

14 wins happened in 03-04, 10, & 16. I may be missing a year.

Obviously they won 16 games in 07

I'm stunned they never won 12 games before TB arrived. Was not born. However, there were years in the 70's they were great. And they made the postseason four times in the 90's.

We definitely had a thing for 11-3/11-5 before the Brady era.

Thought it was interesting. We already surpassed all non Brady years
Very, very interesting. Vrabel has fully embraced and is maximizing the talent especially at the QB position and Drake hasn't tapped anywhere near his ceiling..

And 13 wins in 2011..

I truly believe none of us or even the most optimistic patiots fan saw this possibility, this soon. 10 game win streak huge Sunday night wins! Undefeated on the road.. this team has already accomplished feats it takes organizations years... look at the Dallas Cowboys...&

Buffalo bills pre Allen, to accomplish. As a fan I'm so proud of my team and the enjoyment they have given us this season..

If it weren't for injuries and other factors, the late 90's Pats had the team to crack 12 wins.

Who woulda thunk it
I loved the Vrabel hire
But he has exceeded all expectations
Great Coach and Team Manager
He has made it fun again
Agreed! another thing that I get from Vrabel is he fully values his players.. I don't see him playing contract tug of war with guys... as an ex NFLPA rep, and player as well as HC he is the best leader for this organization. We are fortunate to have Vrabel.

Man, what an incredible stat, as a 1971 born Gen Xer i can remember watching the 80s and 90s 49er teams winning and winning and winning 14/15 games every year with Walsh and Seifort and even Mariucci for a few decent years...and I was just HOPING we could have a team like that... instead we got **** MacPherson and Rod Rust... until the Tuna came.... and then in 2001 enter Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr... what an incredible run we've had... and well deserved for those of us that stayed a fan through it all from the Schaffer Stadium days... until today... future looks AMAZING, but I'm ok winning one this year as well...

I thought this was an 11 win team heading into the season. The schedule looked to me like we could win 12, but I dismissed that as homerism. The prospect of finishing 14-3 is absolutely mind bending.
