I get bad vibes with Anderson at RT. But they are trying everyone everywhere so….

Last 2 years, they've used 5 different RTs because of injuries and inconsistent play..

So I'm not surprised they are trying to find the best 6, (4 on the team and 2 on the PS). The hope is always to not need more than that.. But only time will tell.

But I'd loved to have seen Wallace or Chucks grab the job from day 1.....

(Takes a sip of the "Lowe" Kool Aid)

In Mayo, We Trust....

I'm not sold on Lowe by any means. It is interesting that from 5 years of College to the 2 years at Minny, he took all of 6 snaps in a game as at RT. That was as a Freshman. Every other snap was at LT. He was at LT with Minny when the Pats traded for him.

I think that Lowe falls into the "I can only play one side well" group. He's likely destined for the PS if he's not cut outright.

Looks like August 27th:

"For the 2024 season, the NFL’s 53-man roster cutdown deadline is Aug. 27 by 4 p.m. ET. Every franchise must reduce its roster from 90 players — the maximum allowed during the summer — to 53 by this deadline."

Sweet - circling the 28th on my calendar to get a discounted Zappe jersey. Missed my window last year, but they should be giving it away at that point.

Get a sharpie and some tape and you have yourself a cheap Adam Vinatieri jersey

Lol

Is it just me or anyone else think Smurfy Bailey put on a few pounds in the offseason?

Yeah on his rump.

I wonder if Maye’s “scrambles” really were scrambles or designed run plays.
One thing we know Maye is not a Statue he can run "Run Forest Run ".

Looks like we have a very good young group of receivers, but 2 are rookie, Pop and Boutte 2nd year, Thornton didn't play much so far.

Meanwhile KJ Osborn is a good vet with some valuable experience that played in a good offense and did well even though he was the #3 WR, you have a established QB like Cousins saying great things about him, I find very difficult for him to not make the 53, he also appears to be having a decent but not flashy camp (all eyes are on the rookies)

I'm having hard time seeing Reagor make the cut: Pop Douglas - Bourne - Polk - Baker - Tyquan I guess Reagor if they carry Six WRs.
There will be someone injured during camp. It’s pretty much inevitable.

He's our Strongest and most adept Guard in Pass Protection. That LT position Needs all the help it can get.

Putting the "strongest, most adept guard" in his worst position and playing Sow out of position at RG (he was a LG in college) makes the line, as a whole, weaker. That's a concept you see to have issues understanding.

We have no idea what help, if any, the LT position is going to need. Putting SOW there and letting him continue to grow solidifies the INTERIOR of the line which will automatically help the tackles because they will be able to focus on their job and not have to worry about helping the Guards.

Maybe Owenu is more versatile than you think DB he can play RT and is being paid like one. I think the Right side will eventually work it self out it's the Left side everybody even them our Coaches are worried about. I don't have a problem with them putting our Best OG there which Onwenu is. I read Onwenu is having a Monster camp he's been a brick wall.

Onwenu being a beast in camp is excellent news. Even when they didn’t have name recognition at all positions of the OL, you could count on NE. Those SB years - the OL was working hard / well. I’d invest heavily going forward, in the draft…

Regarding Siddy Sow after his selection BB spoke highly of his position versatility along the interior. I remember him saying Sow can play all the positions even Center possibly. Maybe the new regime is putting that to the test like Onwenu it's said Siddy Sow is having a Solid Camp: DB guys get injured in this League remember.
