I really hope they get several chances to kick FG's in the preseason. Kicking is such a mental thing... I want to see Ryland in front of a crowd with the bullets flying to really see if he's mentally turned a corner.

Looks like August 27th:

"For the 2024 season, the NFL’s 53-man roster cutdown deadline is Aug. 27 by 4 p.m. ET. Every franchise must reduce its roster from 90 players — the maximum allowed during the summer — to 53 by this deadline."

Yep, they changed it last year or the year before....no longer do we have tiered cut downs from 90-75-53-PS. Now it is 90-53 then PS the next day or so.

The thing with Lowe is that he was put in a very tough spot last year and he was atrocious.

But now he's a second year player with some experience. Really hope we wouldn't be back here so quick but if Wallace and/or Chucks can't handle it then Lowe offers a little bit of hope if there's a second year leap to be had.

But I'd loved to have seen Wallace or Chucks grab the job from day 1.....

(Takes a sip of the "Lowe" Kool Aid)

In Mayo, We Trust....

Baker a Deep Threat after running 4:54 at the combines?? Hmmmm something doesn't add up.

There is straight line speed from a squatting start in shorts and t-shirts....

And then there is football speed with pads on against press coverages......

I mean...if 40 times meant anything.... Thornton should be one of the 5 best WR's in the NFL....

Interesting combo. Onwenu at LG....could help solidify the LT position without sacrificing interior OL strength....

Also they start the clock at 1st movement so if he is not good at the track start he could lose time there. the 40 is so overated

That's a confusing "Last Note Here":
I think he means Jacoby passed up these plays because he doesn't have the arm strength to make them and if Maye was with the 1's he has the arm strength could probably make these plays or would be interesting to see if he does.
If he did not start with "Not taking anything away from Brissett" you'd think he was questioning whether Maye could make the throws Brissett just made.

Assuming Ninkovich is at practice today.... the following players on the practice fields today played in Houston:

Matt Ryan - Retired Falcon QB.
Austin Hooper - Current Pats TE2. Caught a TD pass in Houston.
Dont'a Hightower - Current coach. Made probably the biggest play that day.
Rob Ninkovich - Retired. In the media now.
James White - Hero of Houston. Visiting today!
Jacoby Brissett - Current QB1, was QB3.
Joe Cardona - Current LS and was the LS then.
Jon Jones - Still playing!
David Andrews - Still playing!

Nate Ebner/Marcus Cannon - Have visited practice.
