As a drummer- I think Phil had some good beats/sound.
The song has a good buildup.
He had some cheesy stuff but some really good stuff too.

Its all about the beats....rap, reggae...metal...whatever....

Pre-game beats elevate the testosterone...better for battle.

Well then I defer...I do not live in the area so I don't catch the WEEI intro/interviews.
I just couldn't picture 20-something year old guys listening to Phil. Perhaps they stop at In the Air Tonight and don't listen to Sussusudio or Against All Odds.

Collins was actually very good through "Hello I Must be Going" (first 2 CDs). After that . . . not so much.
