I don't know why previous threads were closed but we need to revisit it.

I remember watching episode 1 and telling myself, all sounds good but how are we actually going to win the division as he keeps on saying.
"It was clear to me in my soul that this is the place I wanted to be"-Vrabs!

It's one thing to talk up the program you want to build, it's another altogether to actually do it. The future is very bright.

Another thing that has been posted recently is that New England is now a desirable location for free agents and might be the tipping point all things being equal, unless of course they want to be golfing in Cancun in January.

Absolutely. Vrabel and Co. got that stink off in a hurry. The Patriots went from the 2nd least desirable free agent destination to possibly the most desirable free agent destination. Players talk, and word of how enjoyable it is to play fir Vrabel and with Maye has no doubt already spread across the NFL. I don't think we will see any more of the face Keion White made when the Patriots drafted him for a long time.

The only problem FAs may have is the millionaire tax and the weather we have in New England. The team can't do anything about that.

That's overhyped by people pushing a political agenda in my opinion.

If that was a genuine concern, free agents would have been flocking to teams like Jacksonville, Houston and Tennessee due to their being in a place with no state income tax, while also avoiding the Rams, 49ers, Jets and Giants, but that has never been the case.

True, but the few prime age free agents are generally going for the most money and probably outside what Pats would pay anyways with Maye and Gonzo coming up for contracts.

Though you can get the rare Saquon Barkley FA It's normally the Trey Hendrickson, Joey Bosa, Deandre Hopkins types that NE would now appeal to. Just past the prime players looking for a ring that now would put NE at the top of the list.
Not just Maye but the fact Vrabel is a coach players love playing for.

Isn't that what happened with Chris Long and Derelle Revis? Sign for a chance to get a ring...
