Wouldn't be surprised if they extend the playoff field to 16 teams for this year only if we are getting a severely shortened season. It adds one more week of playoff football they can market to maybe minimize some of the lost revenue.

They did that in '82. We made the playoffs.

I think we should just cancel life and we should all crawl into a hole with our facemasks and just ride it out until we have a bulletproof vaccine so the threat of all viruses and sicknesses are eradicated...

That's what I did in my life, and nothing was eradicated.

I don't recommend it.

The biggest thing affecting the game will be crowd noise and the lack of a real homefield advantage. Luckily for the Colts and Falcons they can just pump their crowd noise into the stadium but the outdoor venues will have to come up with another means
