According to their metric:

Best short passing QB: Matt Ryan... Brady not in the top five.

Best medium passing QB: TFB... not even close... JE11 a big positive factor here...

Best deep passing QB: TFB... ALSO not even close... despite his most frequent target being JE11 again.

That's odd...



I was told by many sports experts that Brady's just a dink-and-dunker.

Honestly Brady has been off on a lot of short stuff this year. Just missing. However I would argue most of the drops seem to be on the short passes. JE11 and White and others have had some bad short drops. Also teams have played very close to the line which held completions to no/short gains and dare Brady to beat them over the top or intermediate which he has.

Not surprised on the deep passes.

Brady's touch passes have been better than ever this year. His mechanics look so much more natural too. Now, he can drop-it-in-the-bucket with the best of them.
