Floyd yesterday pled guilty and immediately started serving his sentence. The total sentence is 120 days. The first 24 in jail and the remaining 96 in home detention.

So he'll be all done with that by mid-June.

(edited because 120 days is 4 months, not 3.)

MidJune by my calculations if he goes in now.

That's a pretty fair sentence for both sides

do the Pats lead the league for current/former incarcerated personnel?

Patriot way? Willie Andrews and Brandon Spikes were dropped in a hot minute after their similar incidents. Doesn't seem to be a clear policy on this.

Anyways, hopefully he serves his punishment and installs Uber on his phone going forward.

Mid-May is less than 90 days away.

Depending on when he starts (and he should THIS AFTERNOON, d%#*!@t!), he'll be available for training camp but not OTA's (if he's signed).

Not sure, but if true and the Ravens find out they'll be super jealous and will step their games up!

Anyway we could add a few more months to the sentence? Released in may sounds like plenty of time for him to hit the sauce before football gets back in full swing.

willie andrews: drug dealing and threatening girlfriend with a gun
brandon spikes: hit-and-run

don't seem that similar.
.

He should be available by mid March, since I am sure 'house arrest' would allow him to attend work.

Mid-June actually, as someone else noted.

He started serving it yesterday.

I was WRONG saying he'd avoid jail with a good lawyer. I believe that he "took one for the team" by pleading guilty and owning up to his problem.* A good sign towards becoming a recovering alcoholic. I wish him well. This action makes me believe he'll sign a deal with the Patriots.

* He also likely got the charges reduced by taking a guilty plea
