Right now the Pats getting their 16th seems more likely for me.

Looks like Aqua got banned again?

What a season for the guy,His team sucks and maybe worst in NFL History and he gets banned TWICE from Patsfans

At this point, it's probably a blessing for the kid. If he's lucky, it'll last until the week after the Patriots/Dolphins game, when everyone has moved on.

If the Dolphins go 0-16, then the next streak they'll be looking for is the longest losing streak in NFL history, which is currently held by the Bucs who lost a ridiculous 26 straight games.

If they are to go 0-16, that'd put the Dolphins at 19 straight losses, dating back to last season. That would then tie them with the Raiders for the second longest losing streak in NFL history, and starting next season 0-7 would tie them with the Bucs.

Also, a fun fact. The Dolphins last win came on December 10th, 2006 (As you all know, unfortunately against us) meaning they are now just 7 days away from going winless for a full 365 day calender year. :rocker:

Agreed. Even when the Dolphins lose, they seem to be somewhat competitive. The Bengals are just a mess of an organization from top to bottom and the best bet to give the Fish their first win of the season.

My best friend is a Fins fan. I'm almost starting to feel bad for him.

Almost.

Really? Why? He's annoying, but not such a bad kid. I give him credit for sticking around, actually.

Fins getting beat down by the worst team in the league (other than themselves). 0-16 here we come!
I really thought they would be the Jets. Now they're only real chance is in two weeks hosting Baltimore. Otherwise they are at Buffalo at here, and host Cincinnati in their last game. Yes, there is a Santa Claus.

I would actually root for them to win that last game, just to see what kind of celebration it set off. Maybe they'd interview Shula and Mercury Morris?

the Dolphins will probably draft a Long-Snapping specialist with the 1st overall pick.

What has changed in the underperforming lphins draft org that indicates that suddenly after years of draft mis-management suddenly they'll do well in their high picks? Certainly The Ginn Family and Beck weren't stellar picks by Cam & Co. The lphins now have so many holes to fill with an incompetent offense, RB excepted, and an aging D that needs serious upgrade. I think they're set at KR.

They are going to have the #1 pick in the draft. That means that they can use that pick to get any darned punter they want!

At least we could move the ball down the field with Trent Green or Cleo Lemon. The lone bright spot for the year was perhaps maybe we had some semblance of an offense. Not anymore.

A lot of his posts are downright stupid and insulting with how much bias they have in them.

Today is the lowest of lows. The offense has been opened up a bit for Beck and he hasn't responded well. Hopegully he learns a lot from this game and applies it next week. The pass protection has broken down, the receivers are dropping the football and we are on our 5th and 6th string running backs. Brown, Chatman, Williams and Cobbs are all hurt so we're left with Samkon Gado and Lorenzo Booker.

I've got little if no sympathy for you Aqua but that being said, I think everyone's wise not to make too many assessments of Beck in this environment.

I'm sure the fact that Troy Aikman's rookie season was horrendous, as was Peyton Manning's, has been discussed quite a bit in FinLand - though perhaps they showed some more glimpses of what's to come than Beck has.

Still, stepping in the middle of the season under these conditions is challenging enough where one needs to give him a full pre-season as the appointed starter before one can really say whether he's got potential.

Hey, who knows, maybe the Browns will consider a trade and you can get Brady Quinn after all!

You don't really think we're being exactly serious in our 2 and 3 game Beck assessments, do you? Just well earned payback to a mindless troll who has hyped the guy continually and tries to say Brady did about the same his 1st games. You open fire...expect return fire unless it's a killshot.

As bas as they look (Real bad), I still think they can beat any team remaining on their schedule, excluding the Pats of course.

The Bills, Ravens, and Bengals don't exactly evoke fear.

Hoping for 0-16, but I still can't quite see it yet.

Ya, going on a 4 game losing streak would be really tough for these Dolphins.

:D

Trading #2 isn't impossible but it's not exactly a certainty. Those top 3 picks have so much value it's going to cost a team an entire draft to move into those spots.

Only if a team is stupid enough to value draft picks based on an obsolete chart which doesn't take into account salary cap ramifications.

Personally, I think BB and Pioli are much smarter than that (just like they were smarter than many posters who complained bitterly last year about the SF deal that will give them a top 5 pick this year).

LOL. Funny because it's TRUE!

Brandon Coutu, K, from Georgia was recently interviewed before the 2008 draft.

Reporter: Is it true that you have a promise from the Dolphins to be the #1 overall pick of the 2008 NFL draft?
Brandon: Well I can't comment on that, but my agent has had contacts with the Dolphins yes.
Reporter: How would it feel to be the first kicker selected #1 overall in the NFL draft?
Brandon: I'm not sure, I guess it would feel great, surprising, but great.
Reporter: There you have it, one of the most surprising developments of the 2008 draft. Breaking news, Dolphins GM Randy Mueller is about to make a statement!

Mueller: I am here to reassure the Miami fans that we have a plan in place, and we are going to implement that plan.
Ted Ginn Jr. along with Brandon Coutu, will allow us to dominate NFL football games through our special teams unit. We have long felt that special teams has been undervalued in the NFL draft process.
This allows us to get our choice of the best players in that field. Certainly some would say that we needn't spend 1st round picks to draft a kick returner and now a kicker.
But using these picks ASSURES us that we can LOCK IN these very, very special players.
The people of Miami will be very excited when they see what kind of leg Brandon Coutu has, and what kind of weapon he is from anywhere on the football field.
Brandon comes from a big time program in Georgia, so he brings with him a winning mentality, and ultimately he will be a great fit for the Miami Dolphins.
I think that we are going to have a very productive Draft Day, and we plan to turn this franchise around in the right direction with this bold, and unprecedented move.

Reporter: There you have it folks. Dolphins GM Randy Mueller is clearly thinking outside the box. Is he a genius, or an idiot of epic proportions? Only time will tell. After all it takes 3 years before you can judge a draft, right?

Well, they have a near-lock on the #1 overall pick. So I'm guessing Beck's starting career will be pretty short.
They will use the pick to take best FB available...
