I think Connolly was signed with the thought of him lining up at Center this season with Waters at RG. Waters was a no show, Wendell has filled in well at C and Connolly has played hurt most of the year. My opinion is that he was worth the $3.5 million or so a year at Center but this year, maybe because of injuries might not be worth that kind of money. Wendell has filled in fine at C and maybe Thomas or Cannon ( or maybe even Zusevics or Warren) could fill in at RG next year.
