The general consensus in the league is that there is no general consensus for this upcoming pool of WRs. There doesn't seem to be an obvious first choice at WR based on a lot of Mock Drafts, and there is a LOT of variation in terms of the range where players seem to go (from top 5 to mid-2nd round). With the team likely looking at getting some young, starting quality talent for 2019, which receiver do you think would do the best on this team, or, in general, succeed in the NFL? Note, this wouldn't include TEs.

Oh, and a LOT of these top WRs are big guys. On the downside, a lot of these guys aren't the speed types we've seen in the past (except Brown and Samuel, I suppose).

My favorite has to be J.J. Arcega-Whiteside.

Surprisingly no relation just share the same name.
I read a bit of his draft profile earlier and he seems like he's been a pretty underrated player coming into next year. One of the biggest knocks he seems to have is speed, but he runs the same 40 as some of the WRs - Harry, Samuel, Brown, etc. - who seem to be at the top of the board.

I think they’ll double dip at the position this year. I’d posted in another thread Brady has seemed to want to give his receivers a chance at the ball and I wonder if they’ll try and target bigger receivers instead this year.

But Marquis Brown sounds like a top choice for us. Hunter Renfrow is another obvious match.

It'd probably be the year. There isn't high end talent, but there's a lot of depth at the point where we could be getting high quality receivers with one of our 2 2nd round picks should we choose that route.

Really hasn’t had a great qb his entire College career. More possession type wr with some ability to get behind the defense. Two pats comps..David givens, Malcolm Mitchell.

Not that I’m a draft expert, but there’s enough size and skill at a position we badly need to have me hopeful about the draft.

A single WR of high caliber can do so much for our offense. This season was the exact example of such.

Pre-Gordon vs Gordon vs Post-Gordon

Julian Edelman's addition obviously had a huge impact, but I'd argue Gordon's did more so. Hopefully we can get back a similar player in this draft.

OT but I want them to find a NT and use a first round pick to get him. Move up to get him if necessary.

Then you can have your WR.
So 2019 is the year we finally get our TB replacement? So many holes so few draft picks.

Parris Campbell is a speed freak, but I don’t think he’s anything that special of a pure pass catching receiver. I’d view him as a Percy Harvin type of player (I know, I know). I don’t know the specifics of exactly how fast he is, but he’s pretty darned quick in space.

Not if you consider the need in QB, WRs, DT, TE, potential replacement for LT Trent Brown and DE Flowers.
Slow your roll, gloomy Gus. They have some decent draft capital this year. Let’s just hope they use it correctly.

Some of those positions will be kept (could be either Brown or Flowers), some will be addressed via free agency, and others through the draft, where they’ll have 6/100 picks.

Jeez. I did not say we have so few draft picks. I SAID "So many holes so few draft picks."

The level of talents on both side of the ball is the worst in a decade. The need for a replacement QB is getting more pressing.

I knew we have 6 picks in the first three round. Aging\injuries\whiffed drafts resulted more holes this year. AND one extra 2nd and two extra 3rd made up for it?

Its also a great TE draft too.

I would add NT. Shelton will be gone and Malcolm Brown has not done enough to me for a new contract.
