Pats acquire OL

From Adam Caplan's twitter feed:

Source tells FOXSports.com that the Falcons have agreed to trade OL Quinn Ojinnaka to the Patriots.

I know nothing of him. BB must have noticed something in the joint practices.

EDIT: Two threads posted at the same time...mods please merge.

Logan who?

Height: 6-5 Weight: 299 Age: 26

Hooray! Any trade details?

So will this guy make the team? (I feel like I have to ask when we acquire guys like alex smith and greg lewis)

11 starts at LT in 2007 according to WIKI, but that doesn't jibe with his NFL.com page which lists him as a guard with 12 career starts (presumably 7 at LT 2007).

So, he and Bussey T/G to go with all the C/Gs. Mr. Mankins was a college tackle BTW, a convert.

I see him as backup OG and potential starter if Mankins situation is not resolved.

its a back up offensive line man, more like a replacement for kazur than mankins..

My sarcasm stands corrected,

PFF has him as THE top rated pass-blocking guard for 2009 Here

The top three, most noticeably, are players who were backups for their team and only got their chance through injury. Quinn Ojinnaka is not the mauler that Harvey Dahl is and lacks that nasty streak, but in the 200 snaps he had in pass protection he gave up two hits and one sack, compared to Dahl’s three sacks, one hit and 11 pressures on twice as many snaps.

Kaczur to IR? Might be the last time I have to correct the damned spelling of that name this year.

Rotoworld speculates that he will compete at RG.

Quinn Ojinnaka

Falcons signed fifth-round T Quinn Ojinnaka to a four-year contract.
Ojinnaka, who has a build fit for zone blocking, played collegiately at Syracuse. He could be Atlanta's third tackle in his first season.

I am a Falcons fan.... Quinn Ojinnaka played good at the guard position.... Not good at the Tackle....

Dude was suspended over him and his wife fighting over his facebook account.

Reiss thinks it may be for a wr as the Falcons are thin there.

Started 1/3 of games since 2006 - looks like a solid back up at the least.

CONTRACT INFO: 4/15/2010: Signed a one-year, $1.176 million contract.

Aiken for this guy?
