Ever seen a game officiated that poorly only for one side?

The Seahawks got robbed of a SB title. Two weeks earlier the Steelers were almost robbed by the refs who were trying to give the AFC championship game to the Colts. These were just as bad but in a bigger arena.

1976 playoff game against the Raiders and I don't just mean the call against Ray Hamilton at the end. If a Raiduh fan ever says anything to you about the tuck rule game let them know no matter how they think the call went, it still doesn't make up for that 1976 game.

Exactly if their ever was a fix in a NFL game it was in that one. Too bad their isn't a full copy of that game so people could see.

I have that one on DVD but their was a few other calls that were worst then that one. Pass interference on Russ Frances was one. A unsportsman plenty on the Pats was another.

I remember that Frances call vividly. A Raider DB was holding France's arms behind France's back the pass bounced off his chest. NO flag. Unbeleivable.

SB XL and the Indy/Steelers divisional game were pretty damn close.

One of my all time least favorite zebra games was Oakland, 1976 and a phantom roughing the passer call that stuck in the craw of Patriots Nation for many years.

The Denver playoff was pretty bad. I can still see Champ Bailey giving up that ball that flew into the end zone across the plane and the zebras not realzing that balls can't make u-turns around the pylon. Pathetic. That was pathetic.

I thought the Colts got shafted in Foxboro in the 2003 AFCCG. Let's face it, we mugged their receivers a little too aggressively at times, outright grabbing jerseys in front of the refs, and they wouldn't call it. I was shocked at what I was seeing. I don't think winning the game makes up for the fact that the game becomes tainted by bad officiating.

They might have called that game evenly, but the Colts were not ready to play that way. Bill called it perfectly. He knew they could mug them and he did. No more. It's ridiculous to let DBs just strangle receivers ten or fifteen yards down field.

How about Vinny's (Jets) TD that never was against the Seahawks to completely change the playoff picture?

I have seen some bad one sided games in my lifetime that have not involved the Pats at all. Granted I can't remember specific ones off hand other than maybe the Steelers/Seahawks' Super Bowl. We are definitely not the only ones who have been screwed royally by the refs. A lot of refs do get play to the home crowd.

We have had a few games where we got a lot of favorable calls our way. In the long run, these bad calls tend to even themselves out. But it really sucks when you get a lot of bad calls and non-calls in one game.

How about the horrendous call in the AFCCG with the Steelers vs. the Colts the year that the Steelers won it all. Polamalu CLEARLY had picked off Manning, but the call was challenged and overturned as an incomplete pass (this mind you, after making the proverbial "football move" and running about 10 feet before dropping the ball, only to recover it and be tagged down). I remember sitting there watching that and being just incredulous.

I'm really hard pressed to believe a conspiracy (I loathe most conspiracy arguments), but I have to say that all of the most egregious calls in my recent memory have been in favor of the Colts. I'm not knocking the Colts here, just saying that's how it is in my memory.

I so remember that one. Wasn't even close to the endzone and he got the call. People were flabbergasted. The ref said that they thought his helmet (that was in the end zone) was the ball.

The "fifth down" game - Missouri v. Colorado. That has to be the worst, for all time. How can you give a team an extra down??

In NFL history, I don't think that the 2005 AFCCG can be topped. I really expected the refs to set up a tee for vanderjagt on that last FG.
