That's the only way we'll know whether he's the guy or not. And I doubt we'll know what his ceiling is after one year. Although I'm sure some here will know after the first quarter of week 1.

If Brady walks I'm leaning towards covering bases.
So if you can't get Foles from Jac
Sign Mariota to a 2 year deal front loaded and draft McDonald in the mid rounds go into camp with Stidham Kessler Mariota and McDonald

What do we have here?
First of all, no one on this board is qualified to evaluate Stidham. There may be a few think they can, but that’s just not true.

secondly, if Belichick believes he’s the man, we’ll get a chance to see him in game action. Then we can share our opinions

I'd rather go with the rookie and use the cap space savings surrounding him with support whether that's defensively or offensively.

I don't like the bridge QB approach at all although I understand some do. I just feel that it's a waste of time and cap space.

Anyway no matter what they do I'll support and root for whoever the QB might be.

McDaniels is reportedly a huge fan of Mariota and Bortles.
That makes the most sense to me if we go bridge.
Andy Dalton doesn't make sense to me unless BB feels his talents are being squandered.
Foles interests me because of the clutch Gene and the fact he played so we'll against us I know I know Jordan Richards but Foles could come and be a starter for at least 2 seasons here.

Stiham's wife has some hot friends.....I think this needs to be evaluated....

To me that means they're basically throwing the 2020 season in the garbage. 13 million Brady dead cap plus 15-20+ million bridge QB = thin chance of winning anything.

I don't see why they would waste cap space to go 8-8.

Well only if they feel one of these guys gives them the best chance to win.

Get that folder on my desk tomorrow morning asap. Make sure it includes all photographs and other media involving these young ladies. An evaluation is indeed necessary.

Just throw him in and see what happens. That is the only way he gets experience.

Mahomes started the next rookie year.

Yeah, he is no Mahomes, but.....

BB drafted him

BB did not have anyone behind him this past year

Patriots have given positive remarks about his improvement over the season.

I have a feeling he's our starting qb beginning next year. If last year's preseason was any indication, he's capable of leading a basic schemed offense much like Brady in 2001. There's nothing from what my eyes have gathered which would indicate he would be ineffective.

Plus, she's worth as much as Giselle, I think he dad is a multi millionaire.
You're joking right? Lmao
Giselle was a super model by 22. This girl is 23 and nobody's heard of her, despite being named Kennedy and married to a rookie backup QB.

One thing sure, he's not going to be Tom Brady. if we go into the season with that firmly in mind, I think we'll enjoy better blood pressure.

They had Kessler behind him most of the year. I don’t know if that really means much but just wanted to point it out.

Honestly all the talk by teammates was about how great Stidham was throwing the ball and how he had all the throws.....If Brady moves on I love giving the ball to Stidham and seeing what he can do....and worst case scenario things don’t go that well....you draft Lawrence next year (2021....)
Save a TON of money going forward and lastly.....this is an “older” team and we are headed towards rebuild anyways.....whatever BB decides I’m on board ....GO PATS!!!!

Agree....Not sure who he is (meaning Stidham) until he gets in real games...but if Tom isn’t coming back....letting Stidham get a chance is least expensive and can always draft future QB in next draft!
