I’ll never forgive them for writing that crap, now I gotta buy this guy a new hat

One of the worst things about this entire story is that it has made local sports talk unlistenable. I am in the camp that the story is 90% made up/taken out of context etc.. but the speculation is juicy "wow - Kraft made Belichick do that? He'll never put up with that...." so they keep rehashing it over and over again. The Pats are in the playoffs and almost all of the talk is about a contrived narrative.

I don't think that would stop anything since people would just say "the article says this, how do you respond?"

BB would also say he didn't read it if he didn't read it so his response doesn't show he read it.
Of course it stops it. It actually did. No one recited it to him. I didn’t read the article is the easy no comment coverall. It’s just smart.

they might overall say “pretty good, it’s been a little more tense this year adjusting to Guerrero’s presence but we’ve adapted”
The kool-aid is extra tangy today..
I'll play along
"So Pats training staff, exactly how have you adapted?"
"Well, we adapted by throwing Guerrero's ass out of the building"

You are 100% correct. The sports talk, other than Dale, Holley and Keefe, is usually bad anyway. Since this report it's been absolutely, as you stated, unlistenable. Toucher on Friday and this morning on 98.5 has been so excited about the story that he's been literally yelling at anyone who dares to question a word of it. Bertrand this morning, as usual, reduced Zolak to a whimpering puppy. The public denials by Brady, Kraft and Belichick (today interviewed with D,H&K) are summarily dismissed and pages of accusations with zero named sources are taken as gospel. Incredible.

Wow, who would have thought that ESPN, the Boston Media, and the 3rd degree butthurt of the Garrapolites could forge the massive rift between the diva QB, the malcontent coach, and the domineering owner.

Great job guys.

Thanks

So you believe wickershams article?

What he did was talk to some people and then totally distort and alter the context of what he was told.
It’s important to realize how this stuff works.

The comments he puts in the article are not direct responses to the question he implies he asked. They are kernels pulled out of a non threatening conversation that are obviously twisted into meaning something they do not.

Wicker-Sham says a “close friend” of Tom Brady told him “Tom has changed” amongst other things about Tom. That is probably an outright lie, right?

Seems to be. Why would a close friend of brady be taking **** about him to Wickersham?

That is the most generic useless sentence ever. "Tom has changed". Into what ? A ****ing butterfly ? And then "a friend". There were times when Evan Silva that fat hack was considering himself a friend of TB.

Michael silver too.

Are you ****in plugged in?

What kind of ****ing question is that?

Can we please either delete this thread or at least merge it into the JG mega thread ? Dont need any more of this garbage filling up space here..

EDIT: Hey @QuantumMechanic instead of just disliking things without context you should realize that you disliked me a post that was posted in a totally different thread and got merge (liked I asked for) into one of the megathreads. Jesus..

"Patriot of the Week" is probably like "Employee of the Month" at McDonald's: Given out to young guys to recognize their hard work and perhaps provide encouragement to keep up the effort, but not something the more senior folks give two dumps about.

I'm picturing Brady *****ing to Giselle about how some research intern got "Patriot of the Week" over him. It's a silly picture.

Regards,
Chris
