Which has nothing to do with any of this.
Disagreed, because that is part of the reputational risk the team assumes by giving him favored access. There are other risks as well. Patriots GC should be asking staff to justify the liability exposure incurred by giving him special privileges, access, etc. absent any legal contract defining his role, especially but not only vis a vis the medical and strength and conditioning staffs. Other players may have their own personal gurus, but how many of them have sideline access and free run of team facilities? Doubt there are any.

I bet more than you think, you're falling for Wickersham's story. It's only a story because it's the Pat's and he's been hell bent on creating controversy.

He is a trainer. None of that other stuff has anything to do with this. The issue is that he became a pain in the @ss to the training staff not what his beliefs and theories about nutrition are.

It certainly invalidates any 'every QB has a Guerro meme'. They don't.
No. Hasselbeck is the one who said it and I have no reason to doubt every qb has a “body guy”. Well except cutler.

TMZESPN at it again. Actually printing & making a story over Lavar Ball comments that Walton lost the locker room.

Rick is having none of it and called it a disgrace. Was gunna make a thread but BSPN isn't worth ****.

Off topic, but since you used them as a source, do you ever gain anything of use from those sites, or do you find that additional forums/opinions etc just tend to muddy the waters? Just curious. I never believed in using one of those “services” to select games or give you plays, and I only lightly dabbled in casually browsing some of the forums. I didn’t find them too helpful myself, but figured that I’d bring it up since you linked their tweet as a source.

I found this on the social media section of the site.

FINALLY a mediot who took the time to figure out that franchising Jimmy was NEVER a possibility.

BTW- there were about 4 MORE FA's that I didn't put into my post on this. Also Kyed's cap number estimate might be a little high, since his source wouldn't add any incentive increases (ie Gronk's) until they actually hit at the start of the NFL's new year.

Why Patriots Never Could Have Kept Both Jimmy Garoppolo, Tom Brady In 2018

If you follow Miguel on Twitter, our cap guru has eloquently explained this over and over again about how the Pats could not have tied up something 30%+ of their cap space on one position, it makes no Patriot economic sense.. unless they want to give it a go with no left tackle.

Some of this is sportstalk influenced, with Felger spouting how the "cap is crap" all of the time, he denies the reality of the situation.. which only serves to feed the trolls..

Stay tuned Seth Wickersham is scheduled to appear on Minihane and Callahan this AM, so more fodder will be fed to those who chose to follow this crap...

While I'd be interested in hearing whether they pat him on the back or try to tear him a new one; I haven't listened to that particular waste of radio waves since it was Dennis and Callahan, and I hate Minihane worse than both of those 2 combined.

Apparently Patriot of the Week is real.

Apparently Patriot of the Week is real.

Heard the interview, said yes at first, then sort of wasn't sure, like which is practice player, game ball, player of the game...Said usually player of the week is not like the star of the game . said he won a few...generally gave impression he wasn't sure what award is what
Also when asked about AG he said " who is that" ? Then TB12...oh yea, I don't get into that
Has Tb changed, um no, do you call him sir, no...have you ever heard someone call him sir...well maybe some young players/kids

Amendola interview WEEI coming now

Nobody believed it when it happened, but Ralph Wilson threw out Bill Polian and in all of Buffalo's history of stupid moves, that one is number 1 on the list. The problem with these "reports" is there some truth, some exaggeration, and some nonsense all together. Granted, New England has endured such a long run of excellence the probability of implosion gets greater with every year, so does the probability of excellence dimensioning (statistically). As an outsider trying to be objective and experience the bickering bills, the Owner/GM/QB success feuds (yes those happened when the bills were good for that stretch), all I can say is that taking a position of absolute is a poor one. This happens in everything that has power and success. Hopefully what happens is, they all take their SB win this year or next or whenever that moment before it's obvious you waited too long, and hang it up for their own sake and go out on a high note. It's just a poor showing to keep stringing this out until that one season where brady gets really hurt, egos end up getting the best of each other, whatever, do not ask for the Bill Polian situation. Take your winnings, and go home, which is the hardest thing for people like them to do.

lol.. keep dreaming.. there are 2-3 more SBs to be won including this year..

That is why I fail to see the validity of the perception that Wiskersham is putting out that Brady has suddenly become a whining diva who is made that his binky isn't getting his ass kissed, and he didn't get a non-existent t-shirt award this week. The historical facts just don't fit the speculation

That's the viewpoint he pushes because he wants it to be true. I am assuming he took a bunch of off-the-record info from low level people and bent it to fit his pre-conceived perception of the team.

Huh? Why is that "hopefully" what happens? I don't see any reason to believe that this year should be the "end it on a high note" year. Bill lives for coaching and could do it until the day he dies if he wanted to, and he would die a happy man. Tom has a lot left in him - he'll probably be league MVP this year for goodness' sake. I don't understand what possible reason there is to end it this year. "Maybe things get bad eventually so we should just quit now" is not how this team has EVER operated.

my point is simple, I hope the successful people of the New England Patriots find a way (whenever that is) to go out on a high note, because even the staunchest of Patriots haters should respect whats been done and I don't really want to see Tom Brady in Miami like Thurman Thomas did, or Bill coaching the Browns and then retiring, etc. When and if each one is "done" be done at New England. Speaking from experience, it always suck when a Bill Polian goes to Indy or a Thurman Thomas goes to Miam, Bruce to Washington, Beebee to Greenbay, etc.
