Eldelman Arrested (Update: All charges DROPPED)

I hope everyone re-reads the first few pages of this thread and realizes how many folks here pre-judged Julian Edelman without knowing a scintilla of the situation. Making pronouncements on someone's life without any knowledge of the evidence is shameful.

He should sue her for false reporting and defamation of character. He won't, but it would be great.

The NBA player Jawon Howard successfully sued a golddigger who falsely accused him of rape, years ago. Served her right. It's a big hassle to go that far, though.

So its safe to say that if something else had happened somewhere else in the club it would have been caught on video?

Because if that's so it seems to me that her name deserves the same amount of mud slung on it as Eldelman's has received. I have no problem with extra privacy for female victims of this sort of crime, but money grubbers don't deserve any privacy at all.

For every decent woman, there are three Crystal Gayle Mangums out there (she has since been arrested for murder of her boyfriend).

Never assume the accuser is telling the truth. Especially when the accused is rich.

Not to say that there aren't rich jerks out there, but saying no matter how emotional it gets, assume innocence until guilt is established. People were ready to lynch duke lacross (even on campus where I work). Turns out it was a PSYCHO chick, overzealous prosecutor, and a lot of stupid race baiting.
