He is something welker always wished he was. Edelman is better then welker ever was imo. Tonight proved it. Welker was good but lacked clutch playmaking plays. Edelman makes them when needed.

Heck yeah -- 11 catches and 3 TDs in the postseason for Amendola! A hard-working player who never quit.

But back to Mr. Edelman: the most receptions by any postseason player this year. Tough as nails, and CLUTCH.

The drive which Amendola scored was a big boy drive. Yes the final drive will always get the plaudits but that drive turned the game and belief crept back into the team after it had visibly faded with a 10 point deficit. And Edelman was just huge. At the time I thought that even if the Patriots were to lose the game, I would be immensely proud of Edelman and the Patriots Offense for that drive. That was the drive where they reached down for everything they had.

I remember losing to the Ravens in `09 and that day Edelman was one of the few guys who came to play and the same spirit took them to a Championship today.

I cannot compliment the guy enough for his efforts on that one drive alone. He went into the teeth of the enemies strongest weapons (Chancellor, Wagner & Thomas) and took their best shot but still came out standing barely).
