why do teams 'announce' things like this? Difference between an ownership that has to worry about selling tickets v. one that just has to worry about winning the game?

The Bills are going to be without Gilmore or Byrd in their secondary. Don't bet on their defense being able to stop Brady and the offense.

Agree, this is a huge problem for the Bills, combined with a rookie QB, new coach(es) and rookie WR's. To Tom Brady, with young WR's, I give the advantage over a young Bills secondary.

Tough first contest for the Bills. Patriots should beat the Bills easily and the national prognosticators seem to agree. Bills are very young, I get it... Patriots are always good.

I hope the Bills show well and a win, well that would drive Bills fans crazy with this young team. We need a culture change. Winning helps and beating the Patriots...? Well such an opener victory would really accelerate that process.

Manuel won't be ready Sunday. And the Bills D is going to suffer bad with no Gilmore and maybe no Byrd

Manuel looked quite good in the preseason and their offense has a lot of speed. Factor in a new offense for the pats to figure out with a lot of no huddle ,I think they will give us some problems.
