DT: Brown, Branch, Knighton

Hicks became somewhat of an urban legend IMO... While he had good moments, his loss will not be noticed.

He was a very solid depth guy. He had some flashes and played very well here. Clearly the team wanted him back but the market for him got out of hand.

I think we have one serviceable DT in Branch, one potentially really good DT in Knighton, and one absolute stud in Brown.

The only concern to me is depth

...which 95% of the teams out there would kill for. They have two roster spots at DT to fill. Whether it be Jones, someone else and a 2nd or 3rd round pick they'll be just fine.

This is the best and deepest draft for defensive linemen in years. The Pats will be stupid
if they don't invest in a couple of them. Cheap replacements for Branch and Knighton
whose contracts are up after this year.

I'm hoping for either Chris Jones or Austin Johnson at 60.
