Oh my God, what was I thinking, you are 100% correct. I picked a hell of a week to give up sniffing glue

This is airing Sunday at 9

Back when you went to the games in a foot-powered rock car don't count, Fred.

So what were we driving when my dad complained that the season tickets went up to $10.50 from $10.00?

Homeless High-Five guy couldn't even grow a beard then!

$0.50? ****en Sullivans, man.

C’mon - that CANNOT be the actual name of his head winemaker!!!!!!!

Drew must’ve been trolling ESPN there.....

Drew’s dad wanted to hit BB on the head with a baseball bat?

Well I’m sure he wouldn’t be the first.

I really enjoyed that. It was Bledsoe who turned it around for NE in the 90’s, the absolute face of the franchise as they went from laughingstock to contenders. Hopefully he gets that; I think he does.

I don't often watch ESPN, but when I do, it's fora show like the Blefsoe E 60

Great guy, and yes he did give a spark to the franchise, but the rest of us remember the post SB arc of 1997-1998-1999-2000 and the first two losses of 2001. The Bungles on opening day then They were losing at home near the end of the game 10-3 to the freaking Jets. It was time. I can understand from a personal/emotional viewpoint, but cold hard facts He’s delusional when he complains about BB’s decision.
.

Some Pats fans will manufacture a slight about Brady or the team out of the tiniest of crumbs. I think they get more upset about that than if someone actually insulted them, or a member of their family.

Bledsoe is one of the all-time great Patriots, and a fiery competitor, and just on the edge of a playoff run, he gets a (literally) life threatening injury and is replaced by a guy who looked like a perennial backup to nearly everyone. And can't get the job back for the biggest game of his life. Of course he had some stuff to work through with that at the time. Now, he seems at peace with it, which is to his credit.

Why find some reason to be angry or dissatisfied?

I love Drew as much as any Pats fan and read his dads excellent book about parenting (highly recommended).

But he is NOT “over it” by any means. That documentary tonight proves it. He’s very passive aggressive to this day about the whole thing. I don’t blame him. It is his right. He practically gave his life for the team. But let’s not say the Emperor has beautiful clothes here. He’s not over it in the least. He grimaced very time he mentions the name Brady. *****And yes, I would’ve PAID to hear that interview continue after a second bottle of wine!

Anyone is going to be a little delusional when it comes to that kind of situation. That’s competitive nature and the level of belief any pro athlete will have in their own abilities.

He ultimately accepted that reality of the situation, moved on and has thrived post career in his own life.

No need to fear the uncomfortable truth. You’re one out of three with your last sentence. He HAS thrived post career in his own life. The first two statements? Nope.

He hasnt moved on. Anyone watching his comments can plainly see he is still not over it. Once again, I don’t blame him. But don’t be afraid of the truth, no
matter how uncomfortable it may be. It’s clear throughout the interview he, and his family, are not over it in the least.

He’s a very decent human being, but the truth is the truth.

Bledsoe continues his character attack on Bledsoe.

Bledsoe show was good. Brought back a ton of memories from 2001 season and how divided fans were over Brady v Bledsoe. It was so reminiscent of the Kraft/Parcells split in 96. Bledsoe, while pissed off in 01, remained as much a class act as one could be given the situation. Bledsoe gave us the wondrous 94 and 96 seasons, both which kind of came out of the blue. Those teams were a lot of fun to watch, and granted they didn't end in the ultimate prize, they brought a modicum of respectability to football in New England - an area which had been a laughingstock nationally outside of one or two seasons.
