I think @Ian had made a site where you could try to predict the final roster. Anyone have the site if it still exists? Thanks.

Bottom of my post...

I just did my first crack at the roster and am finding it to be impossible. I even cut the QB room down to two (Mac/Zappe) and am still at 54. Here's where I'm at:

QB: Jones, Zappe, with Hoyer off.
RB: I've only got 4 guys on the roster (Rhamondre, Harris, Montgomery, and Strong), but both K Harris and JJ Taylor are good.
WR: I've got 7 picked (Meyers, Agholor, Parker, Thornton, Bourne, Nixon, Slater), but I like Wilkerson too, and even Humphries looks decent.
TE: I've got 3 (Henry, Smith, Asiasi), but I like this kid Sokol as well.
OL: I've got 10 guys picked, with Stueber and Murray on the outside looking in.
DL: I've got just one DE (Wise) and 5 DT (Guy, Barmore, Davis, Godchaux, and Roberts), but this leaves out Ray and even Ekuale, who did a nice job for them last year when given the opportunity.
LB: I've got 7 guys, but on the outside looking in I've got Perkins and Langhi.
CB: Holy smokes even with Butler and JJW out for the year, this is still super hard. I have everyone on the team except Mitchell and Hafford, who may in fact be better than many of the other guys. Who the heck knows. So I've got 7 CBs and I can't decide if it should be 6.
S: Easiest positions to pick: Dugger, Phillips, Bledsoe, McCourty, and Peppers. That's the list
Specialists: Easy - Folk, Bailey, Cardona all make it.

I don't know who to cut. One of the OL? Feels like 4 RBs is too thin a group, so ok, keep Harris or Taylor? Ray has been great at DL but I don't know that they can include him. Hate cutting Perkins.

Too many hard choices here. I guess it maybe comes down to who they think they can keep on the PS. Man one good thing about this is that there's terrific competition for these spots. Maybe injuries will make the final determination in some of these cases.

Yeah, this is a great and vexing problem at this point. If the past is a guide, your list will lose 1-2 OL, 1-2 WR, 1-2 LB, 2 CB's, and probably add a RB.

It’s a good thing they don’t have to decide right now. I’m going to hope this becomes more clear over the next 2 weeks.

It never did.
It won't in the future.
But it will while you are using it.

Not sure why I'd never heard of Einstein's letter to the family of his best friend who had passed away.

"Now he has again preceded me a little in parting from this strange world. This has no importance. For people like us who believe in physics, the separation between past, present and future has only the importance of an admittedly tenacious illusion."

Yes, one of our members, Brendan Stubbs, put it together years ago and Matt Monitto has been updating the roster forever, so those two get the credit for it ;)
