Does JEST at Pats become a game of the week?

Given what's happened, and the fact that the current occupant of the Sunday night slot is Deadskins-Gints, I would not be surprised at all if NYJ @ NE becomes the game of the week, either at 1 PM or 8 PM.

Despite the goings on right now the Jets may already be an also ran team by that time - I don't want to watch a team with no chance to get to the playffs to play against NE - This personal issue bears no reason to watch a game with no real meaning by then

That game might be more than 24 points so I doubt it. The Jets will get a welcome that would make Manning's normal greeting at Gillette warm.

Interesting question, does the the NFL decide or the a combo of NFL and NBC? The NFL may just want it to go away but the network would love the drama (if it's a meaningful game at that point).

It wouldn't be surprising if the media hypes it up as that, but it'll be just another blow out win for the Patriots.

Simply put: the Jets are a very mediocre team while the Patriots are elite.
