I'm not totally sure if you're "wrong" but one thing I am certain of - this is a ridiculous, short-sighted, kneejerk, random, baseless, silly thread. Truly bizarre.

5/28/2002 Holloway, who missed his entire rookie season with a knee injury, has been moved to an H-back, fullback position, which he's beginning to learn.
Ok, why was he cut then resigned and then put on the IR? Last time I checked, it wasn't common practice to cut a player before training camp only to sign him a little bit later only to IR him. That was mysterious to say the least. If he was just injured, why did they not just IR him to begin with rather than cut him?
One hypothesis: the Pats are treating him well.
Stage one. Justise is injured and they cut him to save a slot with a view to perhaps re-signing him when he recovers (see under Kelley, Ethan).
Stage two. It is clear that he is seriously injured. The Pats re-sign him and put him on IR, thus saving the slot and securing him financially.
How is this proof? The Pats have to put him on the IR for a reason. The listed him as out for a knee injury. Please provide some proof with some details.
are you kidding me? what do you want--some bloody gauze?
good grief--I'm out of this thread--you're twisted
He was signed July 17, cut July 27th, and signed and IRed July 31st. You are talking four days between him being cut and resigned and IRed. Besides, they could have easily PUPed him to achieve the same thing. Not if he's practised. Did he? I can't remember. PUPed players don't count vs. the expanded training camp roster. IIRC active PUP players DO, unless they are transferred to Reserve PUP
Is this right?
Call it a gut feeling. I stand by my concern. But please prove me wrong.
QB12
Its a strange one. Not saying good or bad strange, just strange.
The guy is not hurt, but is on the PUP list? He does not know why he is on the PUP list? WTF

I speculated because of his comments. People do it all the time on this board. Some people do it all the time on this board with even less evidence that I had.
This is not true. You have ZERO evidence. There is nothing less than that. As for the idea that the Patriots give tests - true. And then put guys on PUP if they fail - FALSE. Players go on PUP when they fail the conditioning test. Because, in the organization's opinion, the player is - quite literally - "unable to perform."
You are making stuff up. Please stop.
The active PUP does count against the roster...the RESERVE PUP of not active till at least the 6th week does NOT count. The team ddi not have any openings..they were in fact at the limit..in fat not sure where their last 2 final cuts were. AS does not count until he signs the tender..IF he/when he does.He never practiced. I didn't think either PUP counted vs. the roster, but I could be wrong there. If I remember though, the Pats came into camp this year with one or two extra roster spots. I could be wrong there though.
