Does 2014 and 2016 take away the sting of 2007 and 2011 ?

Yes.

5>2 always. Love to be 7-0, but it just wasn't meant to be.

Not to mention, this historical run is far from over. There's a chance we can be celebrating 6 this time next year.

2007 still pisses me off, the way we lost to a fluke catch by a WR that would NEVER have another RECEPTION in this league, on a play where multiple holds on the Giants oline wasnt called either. This is still the greatest team ever imo, which is what TB recognizes as well.

It kills me to know that had Asante/Wes made those plays instead of Tyree/Manningham, we'd be 7-0. But 5-2 objectively speaking I think is a fair representation of our body of work so far.

We were fortunate and a team of destiny in 2001. Hypothetically speaking if football was a best of 7 series, the 5 best teams in the current era would be in my mind 2003/2004/2007/2014/2016.

A damn shame that Moss/Welker/Mankins never got their rings with us. I love these guys. I wish Woodhead got one as well. The all-time BB/TB team for me:

WR Moss
WR Welker
WR Edelman
TE Gronkowski
RB Dillon
QB Brady
LT Light
LG Mankins
C Koppen
RG Neal
RT Vollmer

LE Warren
NT Wilfork
RE Seymour
OLB Vrabel
ILB Bruschi
ILB Hightower
OLB McGinest
CB Law
SS Harrison
FS McCourty
CB Revis
