Do you feel worse now when Moss was traded or when Seymour was?

I feel worse after the Randy trade. He was my 2nd favorite player and atleast in the Seymour trade we got good compensation.

Seymour, i thought trading Seymour without warning with a week to go before the season started was very cold on BBs part. Moss is an (I) kind of guy from what it sounds Seymour wasn't. Moss also wanted out, i don't think Sey did.

I always go with a defensive player over an offensive player because we have TFB at QB and I know what he did in the past with average receivers to which no one really ever stretched the field out.

I also know how this defense was in the past without major contributors...not very good

I was all for the Seymour trade, I like the fact of moving him and moving the pick to say a DB or LB or OT. Never got the three 1st round picks on the D-line.

BB appears to me to be one of the most stubborn coaches you will find when it comes to doing midseason signings and trades for giving up draft picks which we all know BB covets more than life itself
...it hasn't happened and probably won't in 2010

The defense wasnt **** with Seymour in 08, he was never the impact player Moss was for the team. We went through 4 seasons where seymour was mostly an afterthought, so this team was well equipped to handle the loss. Throw in a first rounder for a guy who was gone and the deal is sealed. If Moss was gone for a first, hell even a 2nd wouldn't be bad. But a 3rd rounder is nothing.

We're talking about a guy who's easily a 1000+ receiver. And if he dosen't I promise you his teammates will. Seymour doesn't have that kind of impact, he was never the kind of player people made him out to be. After 05, it was over for big Sey. He had a good statistical year in 08, but he didn't do the things Moss does for the offense. Since 07, this team lives and dies with the offense, Moss was a part of that everyday. Seymour was hurt most of the time, and didn't lead a dominant defense. He sure had himself a nice contract year to help himself get paid, and he sure has made a big impact in Oakland huh?

It's going to kill me watching Moss turn Minny's season around. I realize Moss was gone after this season, but a motivated Moss over 16 games is deadly for the opposition. If we come to learn his release is due to his strained relationship with the coaching staff I'm going to puke. His teammates didn't hate him, and this team needed him. We just won in Miami but it feels like we lost 50-0. All the people calling me chicken little can say whatever they want, they're heads are going to explode when this offense struggles without Moss and suddenly are amazing rookies TEs aren't so amazing anymore.

At this point, it's definitely Moss. Not just because it's newer either. With Seymour, I didn't understand the trade either but I originally the organization the benefit of the doubt, thinking that there was no way that they could trade Seymour without having a competent replacement in house. I was wrong. And it's part of the reason why, while I understand why it needed to happen, I feel so nervous about this one.
