Do we want Dolphins to beat Steelers in wild card game?

If the Blowfish win, Pats get a harder game IMHO. Plus KC gets an easier game.

If Pitt wins, then KC and Pitt beat the crap out of each other while NE plays the winner of the Turd Bowl.

Ergo...

I'll take door number two, Monty.

Exactly.

I have 0 fear of Miami and think they're an easy out tbh but big picture it's not as good.

Rooting for the Dolphins? Can't be done.

Maybe if the Steelers were seven feet tall and shooting lightning bolts out of their asses...maybe...

I want the Steelers to beat Miami, then play a 5 hour overtime game against KC that leaves multiple players on both sides on the sidelines with exhaustion, heat stroke, and frostbite.

Is it better for our SB chances for Miami to win? YES!
Will it happen? NO!

Guys guys I'm scared of Brock...

Houston IMO is a easy win and then you have pitt and KC beating on each other before they have to come to new England, and I would like to see KC in the AFCCG. pitt has 3 elite players on offense

Has Miami ever won in very cold (17 degress@Pitt Sunday) weather against a decent team ?
Those southern teams always talk a good game about the cold not bothering them and then they go out and lose most of the time.
I was thinking to root for the Fish, but this thread pointing out what a tough game Pitt vs KC will be convinces me to cheer for Pitt.

Strategically its a wash imo as theres pros and cons to both Outcomes. Just very tough determining between kc and pitt vs getting a slightly easier 2nd round opponent. It basically boils down to who you hate more and would rather have lose tomorrow.

One thing to ponder though if mia wins, theres always the outside chance hou pulls off a miracle in kc and we face neither kc or pitt.... very unlikely but who would have had the jags winning in denver in 96 to give us that road to the sb?

No thanks to playing a divison rival for a third time this year, especially a divison rival with the always dirty Suh on it.

I'll take the hapless Texans and having the Steelers and Chief rip each other to shreds next week.

so if you are worried about Pitt you should want the LOLphins to beat them

I would not say I am worried about pitt but they have more talent...if that happens KC gets a easy win and pats face a division team for the 3rd time

Either way Pitt or KC will be a tough game for the Pats. They are both good teams.

That's a pick 'em as far as I'm concerned (regardless though it will be Hou v NE next Saturday night).

Whether it is Houston or Miami in Foxboro means the Patriots are getting a greased slide to the AFCCG. If the Patriots can't beat Hou or Mia in a playoff game in Foxboro, they absolutely positively don't and didn't deserve to be considered SB favorites. While I think we should and will be able to beat KC or Pitt I can understand a loss to top tier competition. But Mia or Hou are just plainly and clearly notches below top tier competition.

((I posted last Tuesday an alert to Houston fans to go ahead and book their non refundable plans/tickets to Foxboro right now [no way Oak with a new QB can win and there is no way Mia, especially with Moore, can beat Pitt].
My latest amazing, nostradamus like powers states we Patriot fans can book non refundable plans for the AFCCG, Pitt v Patriots)).

Ill say no. Texans are an easier matchup and Steelers are a horrible road team who Brady destroys. Hard not to be confident if we play Houston. I do think Miami then Houston would be the easiest road but it's unrealistic.

One week at a time. Too many hypotheticals. If Miami wins, you take it and hope Houston beats Kc. Houston then Pitt or kc is easier than Miami then KC

I "want" the Steelers to win.

Probably just going to avoid watching as I have no interest in actively rooting for them.

Of course you do.
