Not sure how Mahomes got his bell rung. The defender hit his shoulder and then when he went down his helmet landed on his hand, unless it was from the whiplash

Only thing I saw out of place was he landed on the crown of the helmet awkwardly.

He got hit on the left rear/side of his helmet with the first impact. A replay shows it.
