Part of me thinks that after gronks injury made the incentives unlikely, they partially put gronk on ice. Some activity to stay sharp, but avoid the damaging shots.

If Chiefs man up, it’ll be tough for him to get open. Seems like Gronk can’t beat one on one coverage anymore.

That is wishful thinking. Why would Gronk play along in that long con and forgo millions in potential incentives ?

Maybe the BYE week and it being the postseason will give him a boost but saying it is all a plan is an illusion.

This being called holding after what the Chiefs got away with so far is pretty cynical.
