We had a lot of other issues last year including

- no gronk (on IR)
- 70% of def starting on IR
- road game in den
- Austin collie basically a primary recv ...we had trouble at WR

I will take any edge we can get and this is a positive

Yup. Resting a bunch of guys today was a good idea. We got to see who could step up if the team really needed them to, and who might be worth keeping around again. For myself, I was very happy with Tyms production out there. as well as Jimmy G's.

This team has an excellent shot at getting to the Superbowl this year, because the talent is back and the majority of the team is healthy.

I think it is safe to say that if the Broncos and Patriots meet in three weeks in Foxboro, it won't be 60 degrees with no wind like last year. And if Talib has his third straight AFCCG where he goes out early due to injuries, it won't hurt the Pats like it did the previous two seasons.

I prefer the 8:30 Saturday games myself. But unlike Tune I won't be in the stadium freezing my ass off. But watching it at home I like 8:30 games.
