Mike Carey seems like a possible replacement, though he may not want to give up the TV gig either.

Replacing Sean Spicer? (rimshot).
And Spicer can replace him.

Dean Blandino is leaving the NFL

NFL VP Dean Blandino resigning to take network job

I know the NFL will likely just place another idiot in his place but I hope it's an ex official. especially with all replays being done at a central location now.

The frat boy is gone and that's good news ... pending who they replace him with. I hope it's a seasoned former head referee who knows what he's doing.

Bartender says... "What is this... some kind of a joke?"

As Ellerby told Dignam when he threatened to put in his papers, 'world needs plenty of bartenders.'
