Welcome to Week 2 betting. Week 1 was ugly for most of us. Apparently, a lot of what we thought we knew about this season didn't pan out last week. A good reminder not to go all in. Slow and steady wins the race. It's all about preparing your bankrolls for the playoffs. And don't forget those prop bets. They will add quite a bit of money at season's end.
Expect this same schedule for the rest of the year: Results Tuesday PM or Wednesday AM, Betting thread Wednesday PM or Thursday AM. On that note, I have a very small team here at the Dingleberry Casino with only one other paid employee. He edits, fact checks, and proofreads all of the results that I come up with. And thank God for that because we could put the Over/Under for number of errors I make at 4.5. In fact, he worked right through dinner last night checking and double checking my work. You could make our lives a lot easier by PLEASE following these rules:
* Quote your previous post when editing or making new bets. We should be able to see ALL of your bets in your last post.
* Only bet in $1k increments. If you bet $5500, I will automatically round the bet down to $5k.
* You MUST bet at least 10% of your bankroll. Due to the 1k increment rule, feel free to round down. If you have $183,000 I will consider 18k as 10%. You will be penalized in future weeks for any amount of the 10% not bet. Of course, feel free to bet more than 10%
* Put the line(s) in the bet if betting a single game or teasers: (-2.5), (+7.0) etc. Do not put the money line payoff (+200), (+300), etc unless you are betting the money line. Likewise, do not include the game's line if you are betting the money line.
Thank you all. I know this may seem anal, but believe me these 4 things will make our lives a lot easier calculating the hundreds of bets each week. And it will keep my grumpy hired help from killing someone. Hehehe, I said anal.
