Welcome to the 2nd season of the Dingleberry Casino. Last year started out as a pretty simple betting game and grew quickly into something bigger. Many of the rules last year were created on the fly partly out of necessity and partly because I have a habit of being a bit whimsical at times. My plan this year is to stick with what seems to have already worked out as a fun competition and a great diversion for true football fans.
Do NOT expect any mercy loans, amnesty contests, or any other bleeding-heart programs that I offered last year. Once you are out, you are out. If you want to be around for playoff betting, have some self-control and resist the urge to go all in. Betting no more than 20% of your current bankroll is a good strategy that worked well for many last year.
Welcome back to the many of you who played last year. And a final congratulations to our inaugural champion, Pat the Pats Fan. Well done, but you are now officially a former champion! Thank you and welcome to those of you who are new. I hope you have a lot of fun and this adds to your enjoyment of the upcoming NFL season.
Because this is Week 1, there will be A LOT to read on this first post. This is a one-time necessity to go over the rules and explain all the betting options. Below, you will find the Week 1 betting lines, the rules of the game, and your starting bankrolls. Some are starting with more than 200k due to a rollover of bonus money from last season. The second post in this thread will have a betting tutorial. It may be old information for some of our veteran bettors, but it should explain all aspects of betting. PLEASE ask if you are unsure though! There are many here other than myself who can answer any questions.
