Please join me in congratulating @Pat the Pats Fan as the first Grand Champion of betting here at Patsfans! He was consistently winning money all season and was on the mark during the playoffs. A worthy inaugural champion! @Ian could we get that Champion banner for Pat the Pats Fan? Thank you, sir.
Below are the final bank rolls for the top 7 who were still in the playoffs going into the Super Bowl. The rest of you who took the 50k to compete for a top 3 finish and rolling over 10% of your bank roll are also listed below. To the right is the amount of EXTRA pre-season prop betting money you will have next season. The winning playoff props were Stafford, Kupp, and Mixon. Those winning props were added below as well.
I truly thank all of you for participating this season (including the many of you who were eliminated prior to the playoffs). There were only 14 of us remaining for the playoffs, but we started with more than double that number of people. I am thinking we had many lurkers this season who will join us next season-yes, that means you @Joker
So, next season is only 6 months away! Here is the plan: Sometime around the final week of pre-season, I will post odds for futures/prop bets for the season. There will be a huge menu of bets, much bigger than our midseason props this year (OROY, DROY, OPOY, DPOY, MVP, division winners, conf winners, rushing leader, passing leader, receiving leader, first coach fired, and so on). Every player including new players will get a certain amount of money for prop bets. Your roll over amount below will be added to that. Then everyone will start with the same bank roll as betting begins Week 1. I think we will have a really competitive season as we start the game with all the rules and betting options that we evolved to this season. Should be fun! Bigger and better! I expect all of you to be back next season if only to keep the newbies in line. Between now and then, if any of you have suggestions for next season please let us know.
Thanks again to all of you. See you all in the offseason threads. I will try to keep the immaturity and juvenile jokes to a minimum. And I will fail. Sorry about that in advance.
