Did tonight's game change who you want to face?

After tonight's game, the outcome of next week AFCC game should it not be favorable will not be a massive shock. We have some problems and it came out to bare. Blount's illness was a serious factor in how the game plan was executed.
I hope it is the Chiefs, not because I don't think we can beat the Steelers.... just because I could not tolerate losing a home AFCCG to the Steelers and their fans. Even though I think we have a better than decent chance of beating the Steelers, the risk/reward too unbalanced for me. If we lost to the Chiefs I could actually see myself, though disappointed, being happy for their fans and even root for them in the SB. Not the Steelers though, they are the worst of all fans.

It would suck to lose another home AFCCG to anyone though, or any more AFCCG home or away. Brady gets the record for Conference Championship losses if he loses next week with 5. I'd rather win.

I dont care who we play. We have a solid defense and an decent offense. As long as we win, I dont care how we win. be it a nail biter or blowout!

Yes, I think all fans would agree with this.

I think the OP was asking for others opinions on what opponent might give us the best chance to win.

K.C. matches up better than does Pittsburgh, assuming no further injuries for either team. Nothing that happened tonight changes that.
I also think Ben has been throwing a lot of INTs.. relatively speaking. 13 this season.. and at least 2 in that playoff game.. I don't know though, if don't play better it won't matter.

Imho, pats are well rounded enough to win against either team. They just need to eliminate the mistakes.

If the patriots winning the SB is the number one goal, this is the opposite of what you should want. You're basically rooting for the patriots to have a higher chance of losing.
You missed my point....

Thinking or worrying about who our next opponent will be is a waste of thought

Next team up is something we have to fully accept...As a fan, I don't worry about opponents

The only reason Pats are not out of playoffs now is the draw they pulled. Best (easiest) matchup possible the rest of the way please... for each game.. I'd say KC, then... well the NFC are all hard, I would pic Dallas for rookie QB.
I disagree. I think they took Houston for granted.

If they were playing the Steelers, they would have thought and played different

Was unsure before but now I want PIT. Would rather see this team face a good offense than a good defense.
KC has neither

No I dont which team comes to Foxboro, but the Pats need to sharpen up on Offense.

Also I was surprised to see the interior O line get handled like that last night...they need to work on that.

I don't think so but I get what you are saying. I think the Steelers would have swept us off the field last night.

That definitely didn't sound like the point you were making but alright then.

Our cats er eh our players must do better than they did against the Texans.
I am certain that they will.

What the Texans did with Clowney and Mercilus is the classic approach to slowing the Brady offense -- pressure, disruption (we are all painfully aware of a couple of big games where it worked). But you need some mighty good players to pull it off. I don't know that any of the remaining teams have that.

I'm a sarcastic sob. I don't have patience for people that worry about things we can't control

It's fuggn football, not Facebook!

If we play them next week and win, you'll be proved wrong

If I play golf with hackers (bad golfers), I tend to play lousy. Put me with really good golfers and I'll shoot an 83

Happens all the time in competitive sports

I still want to play the best team every step of the way

The best quarterback, running back, wide receiver, center, guard.....we'll, you get the picture

Only a wuss would disagree

You missed my point....

Those posts are contradictory, and the first one is foolish, if you want your team to win.

Do the Steelers have someone like Clowney that can blow past Andrews? If they did, would Tomlin have drawn up a game plan to exploit that?

The Pats must play the toughest remaining team so as to please earl thomas

I want to see KC and Pitt go into a long protracted overtime game.

not sure that was all on Brock - the McCourty break on the ball was as good as it gets

the last INT was a poor throw, but.....

the D played well last night - coverage, especially in man, was top notch

Pitt offense has scorability - but the KC offense can sustain long drives and limit Brady-led possessions.....neither D is the '85 bears, so it is pick your poison

i think the matchup that concerns me the most out of the teams left is containing Kelce for KC......kid is the real deal

looking forward to the NE/ATL 'Bowl matchup.......that one could be interesting

You should have added "In my opinion" Deus

I want my team to win but I don't waste time or emotion wishing for the weakest opponent

Most great teams play their best against the best. Marvelous Marvin Hagler boxed his best fight against Thomas Hearns

Tom Brady played his best against the Seahawks in SB 49

Mike Tyson lost against a nobody

That's how it works Deus
