You should have started a new thread. Football fans all over the country have stopped paying attention to Moss and Brady and 30 point victories, since this huge Maroney controversy has overshadowed everything else.
In fact, this is so important, I think multiple threads are in order.
1. Disappointment: How many more than 30 point victory margins could we have if Maroney would grab the ball out of Brady's hands and run for touchdowns as God intended?
2. Made O' glass: When are we going to stop this foolish passing game and give the rock to Laurence 30-40 times a game so he can earn his check?
3. Running up the score: We need to have Maroney run for 4-5 TDs in the 1st half. When our victory margin approaches 30 points or more, simply have Laurence fumble the ball over to the other side like the great McFadden. This way, the defenses self-esteem is preserved and we aren't bullies.
Actually handing the ball to the other side might be seen as demeaning,after all.
4. The big Yards per carry controversy. Anyone who has watched Maroney run realizes he gets stuffed all the time. It's unlikely he even has positive yardage, or surely not more than one yard per carry.
Who does he know in the league office and why is he credited with 4.6 yards per carry? Enquiring minds want to know.
